Is Elbow Pain Stopping You?
Gripping a racket, a club, or a coffee cup becomes painful.
Lifting anything with the affected arm sends a sharp signal.
Typing or using a mouse for hours makes the pain worse.
You start to favor the other arm without thinking about it.
Tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow are both forms of tendinopathy — inflammation of the tendons that attach the forearm muscles to the elbow. They are among the most common repetitive strain injuries and among the most frustrating to treat. Rest, elbow braces, and injections provide short-term relief, but the inflammation keeps coming back.
JointGlow low-dose radiotherapy (LDRT) offers a different approach by treating the inflammation at its source instead of just targeting symptoms. Here’s how.
How LDRT Targets Tennis Elbow Pain
Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis) and golfer’s elbow (medial epicondylitis) are driven by chronic tendon inflammation that standard treatments struggle to fully resolve. The tendon tissue becomes sensitized, the immune response gets stuck in a loop, and the pain persists even when you rest the arm. LDRT works by breaking that cycle.
LDRT delivers a precise, ultra-low dose of targeted energy to the affected tendon and surrounding tissue, calming the inflammatory response at the cellular level. Clinical studies on elbow tendinopathy show response rates consistent with other LDRT indications. Approximately 20 percent of JointGlow patients treat an elbow condition, and results typically last 18+ months after completing treatment.
The tendon does not need to be pushed through more pain. It needs the inflammation to stop. That is exactly what LDRT does.

Who Is a Candidate for Elbow LDRT?
Symptoms and limitations LDRT addresses:
- Pain or burning on the outer or inner side of the elbow
- Weak grip strength or difficulty holding objects
- Pain when shaking hands, turning a doorknob, or opening a jar
- Tenderness when touching the bony bump on the inside or outside of the elbow
- Pain that gets worse with forearm activity and better with complete rest
- Recurring symptoms that keep returning after short periods of relief
You may be a strong candidate if you:
- Have a diagnosis of lateral or medial epicondylitis (tennis or golfer’s elbow)
- Have had elbow pain for 3 or more months
- Have tried rest, bracing, PT, or injections without lasting relief
- Have Medicare coverage
- Play tennis, golf, or another racket or club sport
- Work in a job involving repetitive forearm or wrist use
