JointGlow, the leader in non-surgical Low-Dose Radiotherapy (LDRT) for chronic joint pain, and Cambridge College of Healthcare & Technology today announced a strategic clinical training partnership. Under the agreement, JointGlow will serve as a designated clinical education site for students enrolled in Cambridge’s Radiation Therapy Program, offering specialized training in the emerging application of LDRT for benign musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions.
While radiation therapy is traditionally associated with oncology, LDRT is a long-standing European standard of care that utilizes ultra-low doses of energy to treat chronic inflammation, osteoarthritis, and tendonopathies. Through this partnership, Cambridge students will complete clinical rotations at JointGlow’s flagship Winter Park facility, gaining hands-on experience in treatment planning, patient positioning, and safety protocols specifically calibrated for benign inflammatory disorders.

“This partnership represents a significant step forward in the evolution of radiation therapy education,” says Gokul Solai, M.D., founder and CEO of JointGlow. “By exposing the next generation of therapists to the profound anti-inflammatory benefits of LDRT, we are not only expanding their clinical skill sets but also strengthening the infrastructure for non-surgical pain management. Our goal is to ensure that future clinicians understand that radiotherapy’s precision and power can be safely harnessed to treat chronic pain just as effectively as it treats cancer.”
The collaboration integrates Cambridge’s two-year, ARRT-eligible Associate of Science in Radiation Therapy program with JointGlow’s specialized LDRT clinical pathways. Students will work under the direct supervision of JointGlow specialists to learn the biological mechanisms that allow low-dose energy to reset the immune response in joints affected by conditions such as plantar fasciitis and knee osteoarthritis.
