JointGlow, the leading provider of low-dose radiotherapy (LDRT) for chronic musculoskeletal pain, today announced the successful completion of a bespoke clinical training program in Abu Dhabi. This international initiative marks a significant milestone in JointGlow’s mission to expand access to non-surgical, mobility-preserving therapies on a global scale.
The program was led by Bobby N. Koneru, M.D., Chief Medical Officer of JointGlow, and a team of LDRT specialists. The intensive curriculum introduced clinicians and radiation therapy professionals across the United Arab Emirates to evidence-based protocols for treating benign conditions, including osteoarthritis, plantar fasciitis, and various tendinopathies.

The training focused on the three pillars of JointGlow’s clinical excellence: precision patient selection, advanced safety protocols, and the seamless integration of LDRT within existing orthopedic and pain-management pathways. By transferring American-standard clinical know-how to the UAE, JointGlow is supporting the development of certified LDRT centers of excellence throughout the Middle East.
“Chronic joint pain is a global epidemic that transcends borders,” says Gokul Solai, M.D., founder and CEO of JointGlow. “Our work in Abu Dhabi represents more than just a training session; it is the start of a worldwide movement to move beyond the limitations of temporary injections and invasive surgeries. By empowering regional healthcare leaders with the clinical rigor and proprietary protocols developed at JointGlow, we are ensuring that patients in the Middle East have access to the same life-changing, non-invasive solutions we provide in the U.S.”
The program was hosted in partnership with prominent regional healthcare leaders, positioning JointGlow as a primary educator in the field of non-oncologic radiotherapy. LDRT is a long-standing European standard of care that is now gaining rapid traction globally due to its high success rates and minimal side-effect profile.
“The enthusiasm we witnessed in Abu Dhabi from the medical community underscores a universal desire for safer, more effective musculoskeletal interventions,” added Dr. Solai. “We are proud to serve as the bridge between this proven technology and the patients who need it most, whether they are in Winter Park or halfway across the globe.”
